What is the mountain biking section?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Bike Park operations at Ruosniemi Town Hill Center are run by the mountain biking section operating under Porin Slalomseura ry. This activity is non-profit association work, meaning that the organization behind the Bike Park is not a profit-seeking business. All income generated from the operations is used for building, maintaining, and developing the Bike Park. The Bike Park is run almost entirely on a volunteer basis, driven by enthusiasts who contribute their time outside of work, family, and other life commitments.<\/p>

Anyone aged 10 or older can join the mountain biking section (those under 18 require parental consent). You can become a member by sending an email to info@ruosniemibikepark.fi <\/strong>Send a message with the subject \u201cMountain Biking Section Membership\u201d and include your name and contact information* (phone number, email, and hometown are sufficient). You will receive a reply with instructions on how to join.<\/p>

The membership fee for the 2026 season is \u20ac50**.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Note: Membership in the mountain biking section does not come with any obligations!<\/b><\/span><\/p>

Each year, the section elects its board from among its members at the statutory annual meeting. The board consists of the chairperson and other responsible officers, including, for example, the track manager, treasurer, and lift coordinator. The board\u2019s role is to lead and coordinate the Bike Park activities.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

** The membership fee always covers one calendar year. The membership invoice is sent by email at the beginning of the year.
